2. Discussions on the upcoming visit by Djibouti delegation to Meru County
Meru County Governor H.E Kiraitu Murungi today met with Trade PS Amb Johnson Weru to finalize plans for a visit next month by a Djibouti delegation to discuss how miraa can be processed and exported in conformity to their market standards and specifications.The visit is a follow-up of one by a Kenyan team from the State Department and Meru County to Djibouti in June 2021, where they met major buyers and importers of miraa to establish areas of collaboration, partnership and support.
