Kenya Participates in the 4th China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo

The Principal Secretary for Trade Regina Ombam attended the 4th Session of the China - Africa Economic and Trade Expo ( CAETE) in Changsha city- Hunan Province, China. 

The event brought together government officials, private sector representatives,diplomats, business leaders and investors from both China and African countries with the aim of promoting trade, investment and economic cooperation between China and the continent.

Over 53 African countries participated in the expo that included an array of activities ranging from trade exhibitions, business forums,investment dialogues and signing of cooperation agreements.

Speaking during the Kenya- China Investment dialogue PS Ombam acknowledged the cordial ties that exist between the two countries and reiterated the government's commitment in creating a favourable business environment to attract both domestic and foreign investments.
