Professionalism: In embodying high standards of competence, expertise, and efficiency in trade operations, the SDT Staff will be expected to demonstrate dedication to continuous improvement at the same time adhering to best practices and delivering services with diligence and precision. It shall be driven by service quality and the needs and satisfaction of our internal and external customers; apply skills and expertise to assigned tasks; pursue opportunities for continuous learning and sharing of knowledge; exercise flexibility; be willing to assume different roles on the basis of requirements of the task; adhere to the appropriate dress and behaviour code.
Collaboration: In promoting cooperation, and partnerships with stakeholders and external donor partners, staff will be expected to actively seek opportunities to collaborate and share knowledge whilst fostering a culture of inclusivity and collective problem-solving.
Citizen-Centred: The State Department for Trade will prioritise the needs of citizens, businesses, investors, and ensure responsive and efficient service delivery. Staff will be obliged to listen to stakeholders, understand their requirements, and proactively address their concerns.
